Sorry Dear..I'm late again...

The day started quite ok as I've arranged to meet my dear in the evening for dinner. It's Tuesday so no WOW for him :) I've planned out what I need to do for the day and quite determined to leave office at 6.30pm sharp.

My hp batt was running flat.. and gosh I didn't bring my hp charger with me.. is this a bad sign?

It's 5pm , got some account balance issue to settle with boss. It shouldn't take long bah... Armed with my lappy and pregnant files , went to my boss room to sort the accounts out. It's 6pm, gosh! We are only halfway done.. I told my boss that I need to leave by 6.30pm. She said we must finish the accounts no matter what. She made me call my dear to tell him I will be late by 30mins. (From his tone, he isn't too pleased about it as it is twice in a row that I made him wait)Ok, manage to strike a "bargain" with her that we had resolved clearing the 80% of the account and will leave the other 20% the next day to resolve.

It's 7pm, I force shut my lappy OS and pack my things and rush out of my office building to meet my dear at Orchard MRT. I think heaven took pity on me and helped me meet my dear before 7.30pm. There wasn't any rain and the north-bound train arrived on time. Whew! So far so good.

It's 7.25pm. I looked around the meeting spot for my dear. He's nowhere to be found. Oh dear.. Did he leave? And to make matters worse.. my hp flat. Luckily I had coins and I made a call to his mobile. Ring..Ring.. no one pick up. So I left a phonemail. Then I saw him amongst the crowd with fumes emmitting out from his head. Sorry dear, made you wait again.

After cooling down for 1 hour with a full tank of urine in my bladder, we settled down at Pasta Mania at Scotts Road. After ordering our food, I dashed to the ladies to empty my tank.

After dinner, he presented to me a gift. A CYBERTRON TRANSFORMER : SOUNDWAVE!! It's the toy I've been eyeing for! (See below, it's so cool isn't it?) What a surprised! It's very sweet of my dear. Now I feel more guilty for making him wait..

Ice Age 2 @ The Cathay

The new Cathay has just opened. Booked tickets for the Ice Age 2.

Gosh! I'm late again! Sigh.. I could be on time for the date. Just that I was so dilly dallying on what to wear that I forgot the time. Oh dear... I'm 45min late! My dear is hopping mad. I guess when things go wrong.. it just go wrong all the way. Why didn't I take the cab to plaza sing and yet took the bus. And now praying that there will not be any traffic jam and will not miss the show. Cos one thing my dear hates is to miss the start of the show.

After I alight the bus, I ran as fast as my little fat legs could carry me to the meeting point. There the little bao gong waiting. Erm.. ok.. We proceed to The Cathay.

We were urshered to the biggest theatre. I do feel as if I'm in some OSCAR award placed. The show is quite ok. I think the squirrel's relentless effort to get his acorn adds the spice needed for the show.

<Valencia>: Oh, is raining.

Sigh.. end of story is I'm just too dumb to know how to give excuse not to go to gym..
